刘智勇,教授、博士生导师, 新葡的京集团8814水资源与环境研究中心。主要研究领域为水文水资源,生态水文、遥感GIS等。相关研究成果以第一或通讯作者发表在Nature Climate Change,Earth's Future, Water Resources Research, Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres,Journal of Hydrometeorology,Environmental Modelling & Software, Journal of Hydrology, Agricultural and Forest Meteorology、Environmental Research Letters、中国科学:地球科学、水利学报、地理学报、等期刊上。新葡的京集团8814水资源与环境研究中心副主任,兼任"南岭森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站"客座研究员(负责生态水文方向长期观测和研究)。
Dr. Zhiyong Liu is a Full Professor in Hydrology at the Center for Water Resources and Environment, Sun Yat-sen University, China. He got his Ph.D. in Hydrology and climatology from Heidelberg University (Germany) in 2016. Before working at SYSU, Dr. Liu did postdoctoral research at the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service, NOAA in College Park, Maryland. His research now focuses on extreme climate dynamics associated with hydrological and underlying responses (say, vegetation, urban, etc).

主要对以下三个问题/内容进行探讨与实践:
1) 流域水循环系统稳定性基础理论及指示方法探索(自然-人为条件干扰下水循环过程的抗逆-恢复-突变-补偿特性)
2) 水旱及复合极端灾害致灾-传递机制、及其与流域下垫面(植被、城市、生态系统)的作用与反馈机制
3) 水利信息监测设备和城市水文-水动力软件、数字孪生流域系统等应用技术研发(与华为人工智能研究团队等机构合作建立HydroAi团队,开展人工智能+物理水文模型城市内涝模拟预报,并提供优秀研究生去华为总部实习机会)

Requirements
- PhD degree in hydrology, climatology or related subjects in Earth and Environmental Sciences
- Published at least 2 papers in related journals (e.g., JH, WRR, GCB, JC,CD,JGR, HESS, etc)
- Age below 35-year old
Location
Sun Yat-sen University (Zhuhai campus), located in Zhuhai city (near Shenzhen, Macau and Hong Kong), Guangdong province, China
